1. What a fantastic experience working with Whistler Mountain and their
crew. With so many beautiful images all around us...
|
|
2. it was just a matter of our fearless Director Marc Greenfield
(kicking a stone) deciding when the light was just perfect.
|
|
|
3. Our crew had to be portable as we meandered through these 20 foot
high walls of ice...
|
|
4. until we reached certain peaks and points that just warranted the
moments to be captured on film.
|
|
|
5. The true challenge for me was transporting the entire crew and all
our equipment via helicopters to...
|
|
6. the top of a glacier for 3 days which was 20 minutes by helicopter
from the nearest anything. Once you're up there, all you can do is
stand in awe... until I tell you to get your ass back to work!!!

|
5. Seriously, a lot of thought and safety measures had to be
contemplated to get everyone and the two picture vehicles up to the
glacier...
|
|
6. but all went well and the footage looked heavenly... and as exhausted
as I was, the satisfaction and adrenalin was my payoff. Anyone
need an Aerial Coordinator??? I've got experience...
