• After many "unplanned" viewings at my mom's store before our lunches with her...
  • I even told Andrea last week that maybe we should go look at rings together soon.
  • The kisses and tears flowed again...
  • With "I love you's" pouring out of her mouth...
  • but as many times as she said "I love you so much"...
  • and loved the gratitude of kisses...
  • a simple answer to my question would have been nice...
  • until eventually I had to ask her...
  • "So, can I get an answer?"
  • to which she fortunately responded with a resounding "YES"!!!
  • After long hugs, kisses, and tears of joy...
  • Andrea and I finally got to inspect the ring...
  • fulfilling a 16 year-old girls fantasy of ever-lasting love.
  • When I put the ring on her finger...
  • I was scared it didn't fit as it stopped at her knuckle...
  • but Andrea insisted it did fit and SLAMMED it the rest of the way up her finger
  • to its rightful resting place.
  • I was over-joyed to have pulled this all off with everyones help...
  • and see her so happy.
  • I proposed we get back to the room immediately & call our parents to tell them the good news.
  • On the way down I revealed many of the secrets - the front desk's involvement at check-in, Doug the photographer...
  • How I had asked for her hand in marriage back on April 22 when visiting her parents...
  • She screamed "I'M ENGAGED" to other hikers while she stared at the ring all the way down.
  • Little did she know that our parents were waiting upstairs for our return taking these pictures of us...
  • Through the window from the top of the stairs...
